In addition to serving on the Austin Green Art Creative Team, Christie co-owns Tribe Creative Agency, a design and advertising company that serves environmentally and socially responsible businesses and organizations. Before focusing on "Common Good" clients, she ran her own graphic and web design studio in both New York and Austin. Besides a strong foundation in the 2D world, Christie is well versed in 3D arts of environmental design, creating everything from interior graphics to innovative wallcovering products and installations. Austin Green Art's most recent project was an art installation and signage project for Green Tech High School in Austin. She also does some work with other non-profit organizations that are focused on developing a sustainable future such as Project H and Sol Design Lab. Christie has a BFA in Graphic Communications from New York University, and an MFA in Design from the University of Texas.
We are seeking innovative multi-disciplinary workshop proposals from folks who are actively operating urban and small farms and those who are working in areas that support this emerging area of agriculture and local economic development.
