Craig Ficenec has worked both with the NRCS and non-profit organizations to promote resource conservation on small-scale farms in Latin America, California, and Wisconsin. His technical experience includes agricultural water quality, water supply and drainage engineering, and organic farming. Currently Craig is the NRCS Coordinator for Town and Country RC&D in southeast Wisconsin, supporting projects for livestock grazing, season extension, and local food promotion. In his volunteer time he supports a new United Way community garden in his home town of Fort Atkinson.
