Valerie Kausen brings two decades of business management (for-profit & not-for-profit) experience coupled with an intensive education in sustainable living practices, which have included study in Costa Rica, Hawaii, California, and Brazil among others. She has just begun growing food on a personal level in the past few years with a clear perspective of how this deepens the connection and appreciation of those who do it for a living.
